Alejandro Filio is a cornerstone of the Latin American trova movement, celebrated for his profound lyrics and evocative melodies. Emerging in the late 1970s as part of the Nueva Trova Mexicana, Filio self-produced early albums like Filio, En Esta Inmensidad, and Caín. His acclaimed Secreto a Voces, recorded in Spain, Cuba, and Argentina, featured collaborations with prominent artists such as Silvio Rodríguez and Víctor Manuel, cementing his reputation internationally. Filio’s compositions have been interpreted by renowned Latin artists such as Carlos Rivera, Ricardo Montaner and Mijares, further broadening his influence. His live performance album "Un Secreto en Vivo"(1998) showcased his ability to captivate audiences, while his founding of Lundra Producciones demonstrated his commitment to independent artistry. Over the years, he has released more than 17 albums, including "Hermano Lobo" (1999), "Mujer Que Camina" (2001), "Pionero de Guerra" (2008), "Buscando el Alma" (2011), "Se Trata de Sentir" (2014), "40 Peldaños" (2017), "Trova Azul" (2018) .
