Naimah is a Zambian born pop singer/ songwriter, recording and performing artist. Her debut single titled “Long Time” was also her first appearance on the South African music scene in 2015. She went on to release a second club single titled Mash it and dominated the night club scene, performing at almost every luxury club around Gauteng. In 2017 she collaborated with Award winning House Music DJ, Dj Ganyani on his South African Music Awards nominated album Ganyani House Grooves 10 with a love song titled “Seven Seas”. She also starred in the “Qluv” music video by Dj Ganyani ft Wonderboy and an upbeat house song with female Dj Zoe titled “Rhythm in You”. While performing at corporate shows mostly, Naimah recently headlined the Cassper Nyovest and Zambia’s Most Wanted concert in Lusaka, Zambia, being her biggest highlight of her music career in 2018. She has recently released a conscious song titled “Mario”, which she says is dear to her because of the message it shares regarding young people using relationships as financial safety nets. Naimah is also a full time philanthropist, doing voluntary work with various non profit organisiations, including counseling people with mental illness and mentoring high school students, she’s been independently sourcing donations for homes and shelters with the support of independent business enterprises since 2014. Finally, Naimah is also the director and founder of her independent record label, New Future Records pty ltd.
