Jay DeMarcus is the bassist, pianist, harmony vocalist, songwriter and producer of superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts. Rascal Flatts have racked up 17 No. 1 hits, over 23.4 million albums sold, 35 million digital downloads, 2.2 billion streams worldwide, while also selling over 11 million concert tickets and earning more than 40 trophies from the ACA, ACM, AMA, CMA, People’s Choice and more, making them the most awarded Country group of the past decade. DeMarcus just released a touching tribute song to his late father. Entitled “Music Man” (Big Machine Records), DeMarcus is the sole writer, producer, vocalist and instrumentalist on the emotional track. DeMarcus, alongside wife, national television personality and multiple beauty pageant title holder Allison DeMarcus also just launched their hit reality series "DeMarcus Family Rules.” The “feel-good viewing”(Tennessean) racked up instant praise as critics and fans gravitate towards “reality TV’s next obsession” (E! Online). In 2019, DeMarcus released his debut memoir "Shotgun Angels: My Story of Broken Roads and Unshakable Hope.” DeMarcus also recently launched his own Christian music label, Red Street Records.
