Mary is a truly versatile and charismatic performer and recording artist. She has travelled the world appearing at such iconic venues as The Royal Albert Hall, London, Carnegie Hall, New York and The Concertgebouw, Amsterdam. Her singing career began in her teens with several releases with pop bands and singing backing vocals on others. Her reputation as one of the most flexible and technically proficient singers around grew and for many years she was not only a regular off-stage singer in West End shows (Cats, Starlight Express, Grease, Saturday Night Fever) but also her voice became a feature of UK TV entertainment productions, dramas and comedy shows. The Delta Airways commercial ‘Synchronised Flying’ composed by Karl Jenkins led to many classical chart topping CDs as part of Adiemus - and the distinctive vocal sound created by vocalist Miriam Stockley with Mary has become iconic. She also sang the Autoglass jingle, which drove the British public crazy for many years! Her varied work as a studio singer has led her to sing for artists such as Elton John, STEPS and Joe Cocker, film composers Danny Elfman, Alan Menken and Hans Zimmer and for numerous TV and radio shows and jingles. As a vocal contractor projects include the scores for Disney's CRUELLA and THE LITTLE MERMAID, Yusuf 'Cat Stevens' TEA FOR THE TILLERMAN 2 andITVs VERA. Her solo recordings of pop, film and theatre songs may be browsed here on Spotify. CDs are available via her website.
