Stairway is: Graeme Leslie - lead vocals and bass guitar; Peter Jennens - lead guitar; Andy Edwards - drums. STAIRWAY formed in the NWOBHM era and were signed in 1990 as part of compilation CD 'White Metal Warriors' The Debut CD, 'No Rest : No Mercy', released in 1993, debuted in the Japanese Charts at #48. The band released their second album 'Bleeding Heart' in 1999. Stairway's 3rd album 'On Hallowed Ground' was released in 2002. Stairway signed a deal to re-release 'No Rest: No Mercy' album and gigs to follow this up took place in 2005 at Metalfest Germany with Rob Rock and Narnia. In 2006 the band released 'The Other Side of Midnight', which debuted at #2 in the USA's College Chart, two Nominations for Best Album and Best Group in the NMW Awards in Hollywood. The band's 5th album 'Interregnum' was released in 2010 on CD & vinyl - with the Christmas Single 'Christmas Merry Christmas' in 2010. The band headed off to Germany in 2013 to play Full Metal Osthessen. Stairway's new album 'Power and Glory' was release in May 2016, mixed and mastered at Priory Studios by Greg Chandler (Seventh Angel, My Silent Wake). Gigs to support 'Power and Glory' were played at Rock Alive in Holland, Scruffy Murphy's and Stonefest in England. Christmas 2022 saw the release of the new single 'It's Christmas Time' after which work on new material began in 2023 with a new single 'Tricky Nicky' released in Nov 2023 as a precursor to a new Stairway album set for 2024.
