Biography

Possibly the patriarch of the Italian family of musicians noted for their oboe playing and composition. The family served in Italian courts such as Parma and Milan as well as in Dresden, Paris nd London. Alessandro composed the opera "Antemio in Roma" with Erba and Battistino.
