Garth Adam has returned with a new EP ‘Say You’ll Come With Me’. The project is a long-overdue release. The EP shares optimism in the face of anxiety. The up-tempo title track is high-spirited and aspirational, Garth’s lyricism rooted in breaking free and travelling along Australia’s beautiful Eastern coastline. ‘Forever and a Day’, continues to be uplifting, though it was inspired by the tragic loss of his partner’s father. To wrap up the three-track venture is the punchy and percussive pop-rocker ‘Tell Me One Thing’, which takes a whimsical yet sharp look at a struggling up and down relationship between two people who stick it out no matter what. Garth shares, “It was a happy session in Perth recording the EP and that’s reflected in the way it turned out,” continuing, “Melvin Tree, my longtime friend Dave Kelly and I play all the instruments. We work through the songs in a circle in the studio and once they are right, we record them on an old Studer analog desk. This EP comes from a particularly fruitful creative period for me, during which I’ve spent more time writing and recording than ever before.” After a visit to Austin, TX, to record at Willie Nelson’s studio, Garth Adam’s perspective shifted towards the fulfilling future of solo artistry. Over the years, Garth’s style has evolved towards a distinctive brand of folk-influenced pop, calling his sound “somewhere between Neil Finn and the Lumineers, with a little Coldplay and James Blunt.” Thematically,
