Katrina, formerly of the Grammy nominated band, Katrina & The Waves had their first big break in 1984, when The Bangles covered their song, 'Going Down to Liverpool'. The band released their first album in 1985 – it was a substantial critical and commercial success and Walking on Sunshine was a worldwide hit earning top ten spots for Katrina and The Waves around the globe and has since been streamed over 750,000,000 times (Katrina & The Waves) on Spotify alone. Katrina & The Waves went onto have five more Top 40 singles including, Love Shine a Light which was their Eurovision winning song in 1997. In 2005 Katrina formed her own band and toured Europe, America and Australia and has written and recorded 3 studio albums, a live album and a ‘Best of’ album and published two travel books – Metropoodle: My London Guide and Metropoodle: My Cornwall Guide.
