Herbert Barnes IV (born April 17, 1996), better-known by his stage name Young Sonny, is an American rapper. At the age of 14, YoungSonny started Polo Swagg Team which he then signed over to rapper kayo. After serving 6 months in juvi in mesquite Texas after being convicted of criminal possession of a weapon stemming from an incident in September of 2012, he later started Hard Hittas Ent, as C.E.O. At 15, YoungSonny gained most of his success with his first major EP "John Gotti", released is 2016. Although his mixtape was not as successful, he would contune to make more. 2yrs prior He released two not mixtapes "Turn Up" and "Turn Up 2" in 2014 and 2015, and another "Turn Up 3" in 2016 to primarily negative reception from critics. He would then go on to drop his debute album John Gotti in the beginning of 2017 which features artist Young5tarx. With the level of success John Gotti has made, he went on to release a fourth installment of his latest mixtape, “Turn Up” which has grown in numbers on Spinrilla, MyMixtapez, and Audiomack.
