Prolific Brooklyn, NY emcee/producer ILL Bill has an affinity for dusty sampling and a lyrical spectrum that ranges from deeply insightful to vulgar and pained. Emerging in the early '90s, he founded seminal rap crew Non Phixion. Signing with both Geffen Records & Matador Records (and then parting ways with both), while issuing acclaimed 12" singles like "I Shot Reagan" & "Black Helicopters", Non Phixion caused no shortage of controversy, pushing Bill to start Uncle Howie Records for the Brooklyn-based crew to finally unleash its debut LP, "The Future Is Now", in 2002. In 2007, Bill co-founded La Coka Nostra with rap legends House Of Pain & Slaine. Bill also makes up half of Heavy Metal Kings alongside the legendary Vinnie Paz, and half of the Gorilla Twins with the mayor of Coney Island, Gorilla Nems. Now at the top of 2023, Bill prepares to unleash his forthcoming 7th solo album "BILLY®", starting with the debut single, "Once Upon A Time In Canarsie" ft. Lord Goat. In the meantime, be on the lookout for several more singles dropping over the next few months in anticipation of "BILLY®"!
