Guy Chambers, one of the UK’s most successful living songwriters behind Robbie Williams classic hits ‘Angels’, ‘Let me Entertain You’ and ‘Feel’ reforms critically acclaimed band The Lemon Trees. Guy formed the band in 1993 after working with Paul and Jeremy Stacey in World Party. With Guy’s timeless ability as a songsmith and the sound of the Stacey Brothers, The Lemon Trees released ‘Open Book’ in March 1993 on MCA’s Oxygen Label. All five singles charted and attracted critical acclaim. After disbanding in the mid-90s as Guy went on to inform the landscape of pop music in the UK writing with artists including Tina Turner, Kyle Minogue, Scissor Sisters, Melanie C, Diana Ross, Tom Jones, James Blunt, Rufus Wainwright, Mark Ronson. Paul and Jeremy Stacey would both go on to work with chart topping artists (most notably with Oasis). Guy Chambers and The Lemon Trees will play music from their never-before released second album for the first time at the 02 Academy, Islington on 10th Feb 2024 ahead of the album release in April 2024. Aside from writing pop anthems, Guy writes for TV, film and stage. Including: ‘The Selfish Giant’ which premiered at Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End and in 2019, he and Robbie teamed up with Chris Heath to compose the music and lyrics to the RSC musical adaptation of David Walliams’ best-selling book ‘The Boy in the Dress’. In 2021 Guy composed the music and songs for the Sky Arts film "A Christmas No.1"
