A nervy, experimental post-punk rock outfit fronted by Grammy Award-winning producer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer John Congleton, the Nighty Nite formed in 2011 after the dissolution of Congleton's previous band, the Paper Chase. Joining Congleton in delivering the knotty rhythms, elliptical melodies, and dark, twisted lyrics that serve as the band's foundation are Chris Tignor (Wires Under Tension), Kevin Schneider (Shearwater), and Jordan Geiger (Hospital Ships).
