His adventurous spirit and dedication to continuous experimentation have allowed him to uncover a whole new world of sounds, while simultaneously achieving mastery of the classic styles of many of the greatest guitarists the world has ever known. Michael’s highly creative use of effects helps him to shape sounds into entirely new dimensions for the guitar, giving him a trademark sound that is unique and instantly recognizable. If it can be done on an electric guitar, it’s a pretty safe bet that Michael Reese has done it and doing it. In 1995 he achieved coveted and prestigious recognition by the L.A. Music Awards both in categories of “ Best Guitarist Of The Year ” as well as “ Best Produced CD Of The Year ”. His CD Release “ Dodging The Dream Killers ” , produced with legendary Santana drummer Michael Shrieve, was selected as “ One Of The Years Ten Best ” by Jazz Central Station. He has extensive film credits that include feature film scores, Discovery Channel Documentaries But it is perhaps in the live music arena where Michael’s light shines most brightly. He has shared the stage with countless musical greats such as Mick Fleetwood ( Fleetwood Mac ), Keith Emerson ( Emerson, Lake & Palmer ), Robben Ford, Johnny & Edgar Winter, Mitch Mitchell ( Jimi Hendrix Experience ) and many more.
