Swedish born London resident Cecilia Stalin's breakthru came with Nu Jazz act Koop "Waltz For Koop" ft on Woody Allen's "Match Point" film soundtrack. Cecilia is actively working with her own live shows at Ronnie Scott's Jazzclub, The Barbican, Love Supreme Jazz Festival, Royal Festival hall, Queen Elisabeth Hall, toured China, Brazil, US and Sweden but has also worked with pop artists like The Streets, Alicia Dixon, Cinematic Orchestra, Omar, recording collabs with Jazzanova’s Alex Bark, Bugz In The Attic's Daz-I-Kue, written for Max Factor & has had music out on labels such as Compost, Wagram, Jazz FM & Universal Music. Cecilia has released critically acclaimed album “Step like a giant” (a celebration of Mr.John Coltranes music) & after selling out Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club (MainStage) and opening for Gregor Porter in UK, she started her own label Step Like a Giant Music. Since Cecilia has continues to expand on her career with doing workshops for Sonos/Royal Festival Hall/Step like a giant Music, singing for the Royal Shakespeare Company in Anthony & Cleopatra (Stratford upon Avon), performing at Another Sunday Afternoon at Dingwalls for Gilles Peterson, The London Design Fair, written her first commission - a choir arrangement for Mirth Control (Women of the World Festival), hosted a Swedish Crayfeast party for the SouthbankCenter and started a live music & discussion event for creative professionals called The Fika Session.
