Cvsket Pretty is a producer and trumpet player based in Philadelphia. He has studied classical trumpet, piano, and non-western music, bringing a unique sound to the lofi and instrumental hip hop genres. Combining jazz influenced trumpet licks, soulful chords, and knocking, groovy drums, Cvsket Pretty's music is both soothing and uplifting. He has released with labels such as Vinyl Digital, Inner Ocean Records, Aviary Bridge, PLYGRND, Lopills, Hip Dozer, JazzHop Cafe, Lofi Cafe. Cvsket Pretty's music has been placed alongside top Lofi artists on a handful of spotify editorials including Lofi Beats, Lush Lofi, Lofi and Chill, Lofi Cafe, and Feel Good beats. As a yoga and meditation teacher, his music is influenced by spiritual and healing practices that are incorporated into the music to help transport the listener out of the hectic day to day grind, and find peace within themselves. Along the lines of incorparting various influences, Cvsket Pretty also plays trumpet with the Philadelphia Funk band Arthur Thomas and the Funkitorium. He has also recently started an ambient project Dawn Chant featuring music for meditation. He has performed some live ambient sets at yoga studios, and will be incorporating both lofi and ambient music into live sets and yoga classes with live music in 2024.
