Biography

Beatrice Dillon is a London-based electronic music producer, DJ, and artist whose work is influenced by club music, electro-acoustic, jazz, dub, and visual art. Dillon has solo and collaborative music for PAN, Hessle Audio, The Trilogy Tapes, Boomkat Editions, etc and has collaborated widely with a range of international musicians and producers. She's as comfortable collaborating with the likes of Kassem Mosse and Laurel Halo or playing back-to-back DJ sets with Ben UFO as she is composing sound installations for galleries. Known for her inquisitive approach to production and sound design, her debut solo album Workaround marks Dillon out as one of the most captivating artists working today. She was recently named by The Guardian as 'The most thrilling new artist in electronic music'. ‘Workaround’ features Beatrice Dillon (electronics, drum programming, synths, percussion, tidal, bass), Kuljit Bhamra (tabla, dholak, darabukka), Verity Susman (alto and soprano saxophone), Laurel Halo (vocal, additional synth), Lucy Railton (cello), Petter Eldh (double bass), Kadialy Kouyaté (kora), Batu (hi-hat), Morgan Buckley (bodhrán), Untold (electric guitar), Jonny Lam (pedal steel guitar), Kenichi Iwasa (wavedrum, clave), James Rand (additional editing).
