Hi Spotify listeners! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Amiko and I was born to American parents on a US Army Base in Japan. In Japanese culture. (Amiko, means precious little girl) I live for music and the game of soccer as a former player (soccer girl) and coach, and am working with my Grammy winning co-writer producer on a 5-7 LP relating my love of soccer and music. As a musician I played the flute for 11 years and have written poetry my entire life. My lead vocals came naturally and with the mentorship of a special human, I have been able to see my vision and sound come to life. My co-writer/producer, Carlos Battey and his development of me as a music artist, singer, writer and arranger is something that I am most grateful for. He has given me the gift of unlocking my potential! My single recorded with Grammy winner Carlos Battey (Jackies Boy) Reckless has 2 remixes by the Klubjumpers and a power packed DJ remix by Sean Finn -who famously collaborated on Rhythm of the Night with Corona- and had early success. Both remixes built a following in the UK, France and Spain over the summer and early fall and Sean’s remix s now going full gear on a French radio promotion.
