In 2016 J-Woody) took first place In the 2016 Ohio Hip Hop Award showcase for Columbus going against 30 other acts! And going on to be nominated for Best New Artist and Best Live performance at the 2016 Ohio Hip Hop Awards as well as being only one of 3 representatives of Columbus to perform at the event. To date J-Woody has had viral videos all over the Internet including the smash hit “tats on tats” which swept Ohio by storm in less than 6 months landing a partnership deal with Youtube due to the rate of success his videos produce. Also In 2016 J-Woody written & recorded a mixtape under less than 24 hours called “All In A Day’s Work” which had 1 major hit song that had Columbus buzzing!.
