John York is a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist well known as a former member of the Byrds. He was a member of the Sir Douglas Quintet and the Mamas and The Papas touring band. He toured with Gene Clark, Richard Manuel and Rick Danko. Until 2017, John was singing and playing guitar with Barry McGuire ("Eve of Destruction") in "Trippin' the Sixties."
