Rafa Pabön is a Puerto Rican rapper, songwriter, producer, and activist who is deeply committed to broadening the scope and reach of urban music by fusing it with other Latin genres such as rumba, salsa, and cumbia. His career has taken off since the release of "Vida Respira" in 2015. In 2018 he worked on projects such as "Ta To Gucci", which got over 200 million views on YouTube in its "Remix" version, and "Por la Forma en que Me Miras", which received over 600 million views. In 2019, he co-wrote and performed along with Dalex in “Pa Mi” which went on to obtain over a billion streams worldwide and break into the Top 40. That same year, he released the hit "Jangueo", which co-wrote with Alex Rose. The following year, he released Spain’s number one hit "A Güiro". True to his principles, he also released "Sin Aire", a song in which he protests against racial discrimination. Rafa has cowritten several songs from Rauw Alejandro's album "Vice Versa", including the song "Todo de Ti", which became "the most listened song of the summer 2021 in Spain and third worldwide," according to GQ magazine. This work earned him a Latin Grammy nomination in 2021, another for "Composer of the Year" at the 2022 Tu Música Urbano Awards and an ASCAP award. Pabön has recently released his first studio album Galería produced by Eduardo Cabra; winner of 28 Grammy and Latin Grammy (combined). The album contains different musical genres between urban, bossa nova, salsa, merengue, bachata, corrido.
