Italian pop singer/songwriter Tiziano Ferro became involved in music while attending a local conservatory. At the age of 16, he joined a gospel chorus, uncovering his passion for Afro-American music. In 2001 EMI Italy released his debut album, Rosso Relativo, featuring the hit single Xdono. The album put his name on the map, but it was the 2003 follow-up, 111, that launched him to stardom, eventually selling over a million copies. Ferro recorded extensively in numerous languages including Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and English. With his next four studio albums, he confirmed himself as top charts artist: Nessuno è Solo (2006), Alla Mia Età (2008), L'Amore È Una Cosa Semplice (2011) and Il Mestiere Della Vita (2015) went to #1 of the album chart. In 2010, after years of denial, he finally came out as gay in an interview with Vanity Fair. His hits compilation TZN: The Best of Tiziano Ferro, released late 2014, spent several weeks at number one. Driven by a pair of new singles and a stadium tour, it continued to chart highly throughout 2016. Tiziano Ferro went on to a highly successful career not only as a recording artist - scoring numerous platinum records and winning armloads of awards - but as a songwriter for other artists, including Andrea Bocelli//Ed Sheeran and Blue. He also collaborated with John Legend, Kelly Rowland, Chris Botti, Mary J Blige, Jamelia, One Republic. His new Album "Il mondo è nostro" is scheduled to be releaased on Nov. 11th 2022.
