Originating in 1981, Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra is a hyper-psychedelic/futuristic-progressive thang that's primarily ALL Lawrence Wise--the Instruments, Vocals, Songwriting, Recording, Producing and Album Packaging/Artwork. 8 years later in 1989 came OSMOSIS (*)--the wilder, devil-may-care, toss-it-all-to-the-wind, free-form Funk-n-Roll (and proud of it!) spin-off.
