Gregory Rogove's new soundtrack for the film Return to Zero, directed by Amado Stachenfeld, is out now. His previous film scores include Given, Debout, and additional music for The White Tiger. His songs can be found in various TV/Film productions including Wolf Pack, Vox Lux, My Suicide, Zones Bleues, Luck (HBO), and Salvation (CBS). Rogove's solo band project is called rogov. In it, Gregory concocts dark yet hopeful songs enshrouded in inventive arrangements, slinky rhythms, hooky melodies, and psyche textures. He has released an EP entitled Hooops and a series of singles. His production work with Mexican artist Natalia LaFourcade on the album Mujer Divina earned him a Latin Grammy. His previous projects include Priestbird, Megapuss (w/ Devendra Banhart), Tarantula AD and Piana. He is a longtime collaborator and drummer with Devendra Banhart, recording and touring together since 2007. He has worked with various other artists including: Rodrigo Amarante, Niia, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Natalia Lafourcade, Seal, CocoRosie, Sons of the Sea (Brandon Boyd), and Zavalaz (members of Mars Volta), among others. He released an album of solo piano compositions called @Piana, for which John Medeski (Medeski Martin & Wood) performed his pieces for the recording. Rogove toured in support of this release, sharing a bill with members of Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, and Medeski Martin & Wood.
