Julia Fordham is known the world over for her stunningly rich contralto voice. Her self titled debut platinum selling album was released in 1988 and featured the hit singles Where Does The Time Go and Happy Ever After, which went on to become a number one record in Japan. It was with Julia's second album Porcelain that her status as a serious singer songwriter was cemented as the work received unanimous acclaim and charted around the globe taking Julia on a huge world tour. The album featured some of her most recognised work including Lock & Key, Girlfriend and Towerblock. Subsequent albums Swept, Falling Forward and East West continued the flow of hits and accolades and in 1991 she achieved her biggest UK hit with (Love Moves In) Mysterious Ways from the Demi Moore movie The Butcher's Wife.
