Arthur Jannello-Ruiz (Slouch) was born on July 8th, 2001 in Queens, New York. Born with the creative gene, Slouch would engage interest in the arts at the early age of 8 years old. Acting, singing, dancing and drawing were all a part of Slouch’s routine as a child, even performing in dance competitions as well as plays. The first sign of Slouch’s music made public to the world was a track named “ALONE part 1” which was released on SoundCloud back in 2018. Since then, he’s released 5 albums, 4 EPs and a boatload of singles. The early music Slouch released is mostly deleted off major streaming platforms but can be found mainly on his SoundCloud page. I’m terms of sound, there’s no telling what new, unique flow or genre will come out when release time arrives. Slouch has a very versatile and inconsistent flow pattern. It’s always something new when it’s a Slouch track. He prefers this, as it is always something fresh to the table. In the summer of 2019 Slouch released his hit single “Do That!” which grew him a respectful fanbase by the age of 18. It now sits at 130,000+ streams as of 2022 (just Spotify). Slouch believes he has something that people should learn to respect and hopes that one day he can perform in front of thousands, whilst impacting the lives of young fans.
