Biography

A name played off of a global location and a personal behavior. He grew up in a small Northern B.C. community where a rap scene was, and still is non-existent. Being a fan of hip-hop at its best and very worst of times, he decided to form Ill-Literate in 2009 with his life long friend. Since pursuing his solo career, he has shared the stage with household names such as T.I, D-12, R.A. The Rugged Man, Necro, Mike Jones, Gorilla Zoe, Shotty Horroh, Stitches, Rittz, Locksmith, A.F.R.O., Belly, Apathy, Celph Titled, Lil' Debbie, Mac Lethal, Kap Kallous, Madchild, Snak The Ripper, Swollen Members, Merkules, Prevail, Alpha Omega, Joey Stylez, Sweat Shop Union, Moka Only, Kung-Fu Vampire, Knucklehead and many other underground artists as well as headlining countless shows throughout western Canada. "I am The North", Dirty Frazier's 2017 release, debuted at #12 on the iTunes charts and held position for 4 weeks. The video for "RAW", a song off of the album, was shot in Quesnel's hometown hockey rink. Captured in 360 V.R. 4K, alongside a great team of kids, it serves as a time machine to re-visit the old rink that stood as the heart of the community for 70 plus years. The video was featured nationally through CBC and garnered thousands of views. In 2016, Dirty Frazier signed a deal with HeyDay Media Group, stationed in Los Angeles, California.
