Drone Phonetik & 6 Cardinal first met in the local rap scene of South Florida over a decade ago, sharing stages with some of the best talent the tri-county had to offer. It wasn't long before they found themselves diving head first into conceptual projects and traveling across the state to leave their marks on stage with close affiliate Mass Hollow (see also 'Savage Patch Kids'). With time, the two formed together to make '2 Weeks Notice', the genesis of which arose from a fever-dream-like bender, and a self titled EP both written and recorded in a single day. From there, the rest was history. With 6 and Drone now residing in Charlotte, NC and Austin, TX (respectively), they continue to collaborate, and if you're lucky, you might just catch them on the same stage at a venue near you.
