Lou Costello was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Peekskill, the rising music star erupted from his upbringings fueled by theinfluences of hip hop power houses like Jay Z, Biggie Smalls, Wu Tang Clan, P Diddy, Timbo, Missy Elliot, Kanye West, Cam’ron , Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Big L and DJ Primere,So there is no wonder that Lou drew as much as he could to get to where he is now. Growing up was not easy, but Lou made sure he kept his head in the game and out of the streets. “I started making music to keep me out of trouble. The reason why I kept at it is because I love connecting with different people through music and being able to inspire others to create and follow their dreams, too,” he said. With goals of running his own label and putting other creative artists on, Lou has worked with Dame Dash, Dame Grease, Ski Beatz, Max B, Prodigy, French Montana and Currensy. He has also worked with SXSW, AC3, SOB’s and Ossining Riverfront Summer Special.
