Biography

Steve Barton is best known as a member of Translator . The band had a hit with his song Everywhere That I'm Not , and released 4 albums on Columbia/415 Records from 1982-1986. After the band, Steve began releasing solo albums. His first was The Boy Who Rode His Bike Around the World in 1999, followed by Charm Offensive, Flicker of Time, Projector , New Blue World , Tall Tales and Alibis and the latest release, 2021’s “Love & Destruction”. Steve's focus has always been on pushing his songwriting forward. Each album is its own little world. Come on in for the ride.
