Jack Newsome made his national television debut in 2019 on NBC’s Songland with “Lying (Next to You)”, a song originally written for Kelsea Ballerini. He co-wrote the winning song “Hurt Me” for Meghan Trainor as well. After his appearance, he inked a publishing deal with his mentor, country superstar songwriter Shane McAnally. In the summer of 2020, in the heat of the pandemic, Newsome signed with 12Tone Music and released “The Year the World Stood Still”, a painful bookmark of the times. Followed by “Arms” and “Friends”, which have surpassed 300k and 100k views on YouTube, respectively, “All Dressed Up”, Newsome’s debut EP, is upbeat. It’s cautiously optimistic. Having just surpassed 500k streams, it comes just in time for the first summer out of lockdown. "Enjoy it with your best friends and drink of choice." https://jacknewsomemusic.com/
