 Born in Vilafranca del Penedès, Barcelona (1992). Started studying music at the age of three, being on stage since she was 14, singing, composing and touring in different bands and as a solo artist . Between 2007 and 2014 she completed her training with an extensive work in Estill Voice Training either in Barcelona and in London. She discovered the blues as she moved to Mallorca in 2015. 
 In 2019, Cecilya moves to Paris (France), where she produces her first solo album with original music "Cherry blossom" (InOuïe Distribution France 2021), leading her to discover a new universe of American roots music inside her. In 2023, Cecilya releases a retro rhythm'n'blues original music album "Back in 1955" (Meseta Records) with her band "Cecilya & The Candy Kings". The album is acclaimed by the international specialised press and broadcasted worldwide.
