PEER plays catchy pop-rock with a raw edge and pulls inspiration from bands like Nothing But Thieves and Arctic Monkeys. Shortly after the release of their debut EP, PEER played international shows in the UK and Asia. After releasing their first album, the band kicked-off their first headline clubtour in a sold out Paradiso Amsterdam. The EP ‘WHEN THE LIGHTS GO DOWN’ was released last year to raving reviews and lots of airplay. The EP also caused a further growth in their dedicated fanbase. With their new singles ‘LOST IN LIGHT’ and ‘SHOW ME LOVE’ (which saw the band’s audience grow even further ánd gave them the opportunity to tour with Belgian singer Pommelien Thijs) PEER is going at full speed towards releasing their next EP ‘ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?’ on February 28th. Songs from their previous EP Mad For It! and album Laughing About It Is Far More Exciting have been used in worldwide car commercials for MINI and Mercedes (The Mercedes commercial featured multiple formula-1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton) as well as the Japanese Netflix-show Terrace House. A song of theirs was also used in sports brand FILA’s commercial.
