Though proficient on a myriad of instruments, including piano, guitar, mandolin, tin whistle, concertina, and even saxophone, Irish multi-instrumentalist Steve Wickham is best known for his fiddle and violin work, most notably as a longstanding member of venerable Irish folk-rockers the Waterboys. Born in Dublin, Wickham has appeared as a featured instrumentalist on numerous songs and albums from the likes of Elvis Costello, Hothouse Flowers, Sinéad O'Connor, World Party, U2, Sharon Shannon, and Declan O'Rourke.
