He ran away from his parents’ house in Kaduna to Lagos, Nigeria at the age of 18 because they didn’t agree with his career choice. Two years later it peaked at #1 on the global shazam charts for over 2 months, peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the Billboard Global Charts.
