Cited as one of the more influential bands in the djent/tech, progressive metal movement, Sikth formed in 1999 in Watford, England. In 2001 settled on the recognised 6 man line up of vocalists Mikee Goodman (vocals/lyrics) and Justin Paul Hill (vocals), Dan Weller (guitar), James Leach (bass), and Dan Foord (drums) Sikth issued a pair of well-received EPs, before releasing their debut studio album, 'The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out Wait for Something Wild', in 2003. after many tours and festival appearances, Sikth released their 2nd album Death of a Dead Day in 2006. In 2007 Goodman and Hill announced that they would be leaving the group to pursue other projects. The ensuing years saw Sikth's reputation in the metal community grow exponentially, to then reform in 2014 headlining a Stage at Download Festival. In early 2015 the bandmembers announced that they would be releasing a mini album titled 'Opacities'. After hugely sold out UK Tour and an arena tour supporting Slipknot, Justin Hill announced he would be stepping out of the band again. Joe Rosser was brought in to fill his role on duel vocals. SikTh released 'The Future in Whose Eyes' in 2017. Justin Rejoined the band in 2022. To headline a sold out Electric Ballroom To this day SikTh have toured 26 countries around the world. SikTh members have guested with artists from bands such as Iron Maiden, Deftones, Cypress Hill, Periphery, Devin Townsend & more.
