Victor Sanchez Hailing from Sheffield in the UK, Darkly A.M. has released progressive/ melodic house tracks on a variety of labels. He is perhaps better known as half of the downtempo duo @Animat that lasted for 15 years, performing in the UK and Europe. January 2021 saw the sudden death of the other half of the duo. Darkly A.M. took a break from music allowing time to mourn his friend and to consider if he should continue making music. In 2022 he decided to restart making music but at higher BPMs, something that the Animat sound didn't lend itself to. Darkly A.M. has ventured solo into new sonic territory and established his new melodic house sound that impacted the Beatport charts. 2023 saw his tracks Fabula, Progologic and Something Like This hit the top 10 in the Prog house charts. The first quarter of 2024 has been busy for Darkly A.M. with remixes, collaborations and releases already out or in the pipeline
